Bavarian Motorsport Performance DME Chip Tuning

Bavarian Motorsport is able to offer you the widest selection of performance chips, especially designed for your BMW.

We have chips which cover all makes and models and will significantly increase your horsepower and torque, and will also increase the redline rev limit on your BMW without harming the engine in any way or increasing emissions.

DME PERFORMANCE CHIP

Your vehicle’s motronic system has been programmed from the factory to perform at maximum efficiency using unleaded regular fuel. Manufacturers must make compromises to meet the average driver’s need that do not optimise the performance potential of the motor.

Our company’s Bavarian Motorsport Division is always developing, with BMW approved tuning specialists (in various parts of the world) the ultimate replacement computer chip for each BMW model, that optimises power output by increasing timing advance and fuel mixture. This does require the use of premium unleaded fuel 91 octane or higher Optimax 98 octane.

This Division is constantly upgrading all it’s DME chips with the Dyno specialists with surprising results. The overseas BMW approved-tuning specialists found that, with no other modifications, the 1985 325e automatic showed a remarkable 4 second improvement from 0 to 110 km/h. Another test vehicle, a 1986 535i automatic showed an impressive 2 second improvement.

In addition to the horsepower gain the engine’s rev limit is raised, varying between 300-600 rpm to take full advantage of the improved power curve. This is the perfect addition to our Big Bore Throttle Bodies Airflow Booster.

TRANSMISSION CHIP

Developed as an enhancement for the engine chips. The transmission chips match the shift points of your automatic transmission with the improved power output of your engine. Same easy installation as the engine chips. Applies only to electronically controlled transmissions, those with selector switches labeled E-S-123. Here we will also need E.C.U. numbers.

Note: This transmission chip is not available for some BMW models.
