Performance Camshafts for Street & Track use

For the ultimate in ALPINA and BAVARIAN MOTORSPORT naturally aspirated engine performance, replacement intake and exhaust cam shafts have been developed for use in conjunction with the engine program, raising peak horsepower.

The cams are manufactured from the same material and by the same German Company as the BMW motorsport OEM components and retain the hydraulic lifters. The extra power at higher rpm comes without any significant sacrifice in low end torque as the Performance Engine Software re-programs both the variable valve timing (VANOS) for optimum performance throughout the engine’s operating range.

With the BAVARIAN MOTORSPORT VANOS engine making such substantial torque at the low end, the shift in the power band will be a welcome improvement in performance and drivability.
